Target Information

Feline Gastrin (GAST) is a polypeptide hormone secreted by G cells in the stomach. It stimulates the secretion of gastric acid and pepsin and promotes the growth of gastric mucosa. It plays an important role in regulating gastric acid secretion and gastrointestinal motility and is also used in the study of gastrointestinal diseases.
