Target Information

Rat TNFSF14 exists as both membrane-bound and soluble ligand protein with a conserved TNF homology domain at its extracellular region. It retains stable trimeric folding and intact receptor-binding motifs under physiological conditions, widely expressed on immune and stromal cell surfaces. Its dual membrane and secreted forms, along with characteristic TNF superfamily fold, distinguish it from cytoplasmic catalytic enzymes, organelle transporters and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with distinct structural configurations and fixed subcellular locations.
