Its pore-integrated multi-repeat architecture and nuclear boundary localization differentiate it from soluble cytoplasmic adaptors, secreted extracellular signaling polypeptides and intranuclear transcription factors with streamlined single-domain assemblies and static single-compartment subcellular distribution profiles.
