Target Information

Rat ENTPD1 is a type II transmembrane ectoenzyme with multiple conserved extracellular catalytic domains that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It localizes to the cell surface of endothelial and immune cell populations and mediates extracellular nucleotide interactions. Its membrane-tethered multi-domain enzymatic structure and vascular tissue-biased expression distinguish it from soluble secreted cytokines, cytoplasmic scaffolding adaptors and chromatin-interacting nuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and ubiquitous expression across non-vascular somatic tissues.
