Target Information

Mouse DFFA is an intracellular regulatory protein with conserved inhibitory and cleavage domains that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It resides in the cytoplasm of most somatic cell populations and forms heterodimeric complexes with its catalytic counterpart. Its multi-domain cytoplasmic regulatory architecture and universal cellular expression differentiate it from transmembrane surface receptors, soluble secreted cytokines and chromatin-binding nuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and tissue-limited expression patterns.
