Target Information
Bovine interleukin 12B (IL-12B) is a key subunit of the heterodimeric cytokines IL-12 and IL-23, which are critical for immune regulation. IL-12B (p40) pairs with IL-12A (p35) to form IL-12, promoting Th1 cell differentiation and enhancing immune responses. It also combines with IL-23A (p19) to form IL-23, which supports Th17 cell functions and is involved in inflammatory processes. IL-12B is produced by antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells and macrophages, playing a role in host defense against infections.
