Mouse Mammary Carcinoma Highly Metastatic Cell Line MA-891 is a widely used cell model in research to investigate the mechanisms of breast cancer metastasis. This cell line originated from the TA2 spontaneous breast carcinoma (TA2 SBC) and has the ability to form tumors in TA2 mice. MA-891 cells can not only grow and form tumors but also exhibit a high metastatic potential, particularly in organs such as the lungs and liver.
