Rat proteinase 3 (PR3) is a serine protease primarily found in the azurophilic granules of neutrophils and lysosomes of monocytes. It plays a crucial role in the immune response by degrading bacterial proteins and modulating inflammation. PR3 is also involved in the processing of cytokines and chemokines. In autoimmune conditions, PR3 can become a target of autoantibodies, leading to diseases such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
