Goat Interleukin18 (IL18) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a critical role in immune responses. IL-18 stimulates the production of interferon-gamma (IFNg) from natural killer cells and T cells, enhancing the immune response against intracellular pathogens. In goats, IL-18 is involved in responses to infections and plays a role in inflammatory processes.
