Target Information

Rat Coiled Coil Domain Containing Protein 80 (CCDC80) is a secreted glycoprotein characterized by multiple coiled-coil motifs. It participates in extracellular matrix organization, cell adhesion, and integrin-mediated signaling. CCDC80 is expressed in connective tissues and modulates fibroblast migration and collagen deposition during tissue remodeling. Its presence in serum and extracellular milieu makes it a useful marker for studying wound repair and fibrotic processes.
