Specifications
Target Information
Selenoprotein S is encoded by the SELENOS gene in pigs. It is a multifunctional protein with diverse cellular roles. Notably, it is associated with inflammatory processes, cellular stress response, protein quality control, and signaling pathways. It is one of the key selenoproteins which play the unique roles during the protection of porcine skeletal muscle from oxidative damage via relieving mitochondrial dysfunction and endoplasmic reticulum stress.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with gel ice packs. It is recommended to store at 2-8 °C (Up to 6 months).
Documents
The product is for research use only.
Not for commercial, prophylactic, diagnostic, or therapeutic applications.
