Target Information
Rat PAG1 is a transmembrane signaling adaptor equipped with conserved cytoplasmic tyrosine motifs that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It specifically accumulates within lipid raft microdomains on the plasma membrane of multiple immune cell subsets. Its lipid raft-tethered multi-domain structure and immune tissue-biased expression distinguish it from soluble secreted cytokines, cytoplasmic scaffolding mediators and chromatin-binding nuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and ubiquitous expression across non-immune somatic tissues.
