Target Information

Mouse granzyme B is a serine protease primarily expressed by cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells. It is a critical component of the immune system's cytotoxic response, delivered into target cells via granule exocytosis. Granzyme B induces apoptosis by cleaving key intracellular substrates, including members of the caspase family, leading to cell death. This protease is essential for eliminating infected or transformed cells, maintaining immune homeostasis, and protecting against pathogens.
