Target Information

Mouse DDB2 is a nuclear regulatory protein with conserved DNA-binding motifs that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It resides within nuclear compartments of most proliferating somatic cell populations and forms multi-protein complexes with chromatin-associated factors. Its chromatin-binding multi-domain structure and universal cellular expression distinguish it from transmembrane surface receptors, soluble secreted cytokines and cytoplasmic scaffolding adaptors with simplified single-domain assemblies and tissue-restricted expression patterns.
