Product Overview

Porcine Intestinal Epithelial Cell Line-IPEC-J2 was established from normal intestinal epithelial cells isolated from the jejunum of a neonatal, uncastrated pig. This cell line carries porcine C-type oncovirus (PCOV) sequences and their transcripts. These cells exhibit typical epithelial cell characteristics, capable of forming polarized monolayers with brush borders, tight junction structures, and a functional barrier.
