Mouse Pituitary Tumor Cell Line-GT1-1
Product Overview
The Mouse Pituitary Tumor Cell Line-GT1-1 is derived from a transgenic mouse whose genome contains the promoter sequence of the hypothalamic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) gene and the SV40 large T antigen tag. This genetic modification leads to the formation of hypothalamic and olfactory bulb tumors during embryonic development. GT1-1 is a clone of the GT1 cell line and is widely used to study the growth, proliferation, migration, and drug sensitivity of pituitary adenomas. GT1-1 cells can express pro-LHRH mRNA and secrete LHRH-like immunoreactive substances into the culture medium.
