MPC-83 mouse pancreatic acinar cells are a cell line derived from mouse pancreatic tissue. They grow adherently and have an epithelial-like cell morphology. This cell line originates from a spontaneous pancreatic tumor in Kunming mice. MPC-83 cells are rich in zymogen granules and lipase granules in their cytoplasm, exhibiting typical pancreatic acinar cell digestive enzyme activity.
