Target Information

Pasteurella pneumotropica is an opportunistic Gram-negative bacterium responsible for rodent pasteurellosis, which affects the upper respiratory, reproductive, and digestive tracts of mammals. In animal care facilities, the presence of P. pneumotropica can lead to severe or lethal infections in immunodeficient mice and poses a potential risk for human contamination.
