Target Information

Rat CCL9 is a small secreted chemokine containing conserved cysteine-linked structural folds that support stable globular conformation under physiological environments. It is synthesized by myeloid cell subsets and released into extracellular tissue compartments upon cellular stimulation. Its soluble secretory nature and characteristic chemokine core architecture separate it from integral membrane receptors, cytoplasmic metabolic enzymes and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with compact single-domain assemblies and static single-compartment subcellular distribution patterns.
