Target Information

Enterococcus spp bacteria are a normal part of the microbiota in the intestinal tract of poultry and other bird species. Enterococcus cecorum is increasingly recognized as an emerging avian pathogen. Infected broiler flocks typically exhibit clinical signs between 5 to 10 weeks of age, experiencing a significant rise in flock mortality. Enterococcus cecorum frequently leads to skeletal lesions.
