Target Information

Salmonella is an extremely contagious bacterium, primarily spreading when animals ingest contaminated feed or water. It can infect both birds and mammals, including humans. Shigella are bacteria that lead to diarrhea, with shigellosis being a significant cause of diarrhea and dysentery, contributing to high morbidity and mortality rates in many regions worldwide. Shigella cannot be spread by common pets, farm animals, or wild animals.
