Target Information

Campylobacter species are commonly found in a wide range of warm-blooded animals. The name "Campylobacter" translates to "curved bacteria," reflecting their typical comma or "S" shape. Scientifically classified as a genus of gram-negative bacteria, they are known for their motility. These bacteria are prevalent in food animals like poultry, cattle, pigs, sheep, and ostriches, as well as in pets such as cats and dogs. Additionally, they have been detected in shellfish.
