Borrelia duttonii, formerly known as Spirochaeta duttoni, is a species of Borrelia. It is the causative agent of tick-borne relapsing fever in certain regions of sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar. The soft-bodied tick Ornithodoros moubata transmits the pathogen through its saliva and coxal fluid.
