Target Information

Staphylococcus lugdunensis is a commensal bacterium found in humans and other animals, capable of causing serious infections. Although S. lugdunensis has been isolated from healthy dogs and cats, there have also been reports of severe infections caused by this bacterium in the urogenital tract, respiratory tract, deep tissues, and wounds of these animals.
