Target Information

Grass carp reovirus (GCRV), belonging to the Reoviridae family, is known to cause severe hemorrhagic disease in fish species such as grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella), black carp (Mylopharyngodon piceus), and rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus), among others. GCRV is classified into three types: type I, type II, and type III.
