Mouse Teratoma Cell Line-P19
Product Overview
The Mouse Teratoma Cell Line-P19, isolated from a male mouse teratoma, is a pluripotent stem cell capable of in vitro culture. P19 cell aggregates can be induced by retinoic acid (RA) to differentiate into neurons, glial cells, and fibroblasts, while dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) induces differentiation into cardiac, skeletal, and smooth muscle cells. During the neuronal differentiation of P19 cells, the expression pattern of neurodevelopmental genes largely mimics the normal mouse neural development process. Therefore, P19 is currently used as an in vitro model for studying neurodevelopment.
