Target Information

Lactococcus garvieae is a recognized pathogen in the Far East, targeting saltwater fish such as rainbow trout, Japanese yellowtail, cobia (Rachycentron canadum), and grey mullet (Mugil cephalus). This bacterium induces lesions in the vascular endothelium, resulting in hemorrhages and petechiae on the surface of internal organs.
