Target Information

Streptococcus parasanguinis is a gram-positive bacterium within the Streptococcus genus, classified as part of the Streptococcus viridans group. It is one of the primary early colonizers of dental surfaces in the human oral cavity. There have been reports of uncommon cases of subclinical mastitis in sheep attributed to Streptococcus parasanguinis.
