Rat Gliosarcoma Cell Line-9L/lacZ
Product Overview
Rat Gliosarcoma Cell Line-9L/lacZ were developed in 1989 from the 9L cell line (a rat nitrosourea-induced glioma cell line). The 9L cell line was infected with the BAG replication-defective retroviral vector, which carries the E. coli gene encoding beta-galactosidase (lacZ) and the Tn5 neomycin gene conferring G418 resistance. The cells were then cultured in the presence of G418 for 14 days, cloned, and tested for beta-galactosidase production.
