Rat Brain Type I Astrocyte Cell Line-CTX-TNA2
Product Overview
Rat Brain Type I Astrocyte Cell Line-CTX-TNA2 was established from a primary culture of type 1 astrocytes derived from the frontal cortical tissue of 1-day-old rat brains. The primary cultures were transfected three days after initial plating with a DNA construct containing the early oncogenic region of SV40, under the transcriptional control of a human GFAP promoter (pGFA-SV-Tt) linked to the murine phosphoglycerate kinase gene promoter and pPGK-neo. Transfectants were then selected using G418 and subsequently cloned.
