Product Overview

Mouse Pituitary Thyrotropin Follicular Stellate Cell Line-TtT/GF is a non-endocrine cell line derived from a pituitary adenoma induced by radioactive thyroidectomy. These cells are widely accepted as a model for folliculo-stellate cells. These are mouse cells from a pituitary tumor (a tumor that produces thyroid-stimulating hormone). They are pituitary folliculo-stellate-like cells and are an FGF-dependent cell line. They are GFAP-positive and S-100 positive, and are reported to produce IL-6.
