Mouse Normal Hepatocyte Cell Line-NCTC clone 1469 was established in 1952 from the liver tissue of normal C3H/An mice. It expresses the H-2K antigen and is negative for mousepox virus. NCTC1469 cells demonstrate good proliferative capacity in in vitro culture and can mimic hepatocyte stress responses under certain experimental conditions (e.g., hypoxia/reoxygenation).
