Mouse Malignant Mammary Carcinoma Cell Line-PY8119-GFP
Product Overview
Mouse Malignant Mammary Carcinoma Cell Line-PY8119 is a mesenchymal-like cell line isolated in 2004 from the mammary glands of an adult female mouse with adenocarcinoma. This cell line serves as a model for studying the multi-step progression of malignant breast tumor development and metastasis. It can also be used as a preclinical mouse model for triple-negative breast cancer. The PY8119 cell line represents mesenchymal tumor cells derived from a spontaneously occurring mammary adenocarcinoma in MMTV-PyMT (mouse mammary tumor virus promoter-driven polyoma middle T antigen) transgenic C57BL/6 female mice. These cell products stably expressed GFP which transfected with lentivirus, producing a vivid green fluorescence when exposed to blue light. This fluorescence can be utilized for visualization purposes in various related research applications.
