Target Information

Corynebacterium jeikeium is a rod-shaped, catalase-positive, aerobic species within the Actinomycetota phylum, belonging to the Corynebacterium genus. It is pathogenic and commonly causes opportunistic infections, particularly in bone marrow transplant patients. C. jeikeium is generally susceptible to vancomycin and tetracycline.
