Target Information

Clostridium is a genus of anaerobic, Gram-positive bacteria. Species within this genus are found in soils and the intestinal tracts of animals, including humans. Clostridial organisms often occur naturally in the gut of healthy animals. Animals, such as sheep, can be infected by various clostridial diseases, including black leg, botulism, malignant edema, red water disease, different types of enterotoxemias, and tetanus.
