Product Overview

Rat Brain Interstitial Cell Line-DI TNC1 is a cell line derived from rat brain tissue, primarily originating from Type I astrocytes of the brain interstitium. DI TNC1 cells were isolated from the brain interstitial tissue of 1-day-old rats as Type I astrocytes and subsequently immortalized through transgenic technology. These cells retain many characteristics of Type I astrocytes, such as the expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP).
