Mouse Thymic Lymphoma Cell Line-EL-4-Luc-GFP-Puro

Product Overview

EL4 cells were established from a lymphoma induced in C57BL mice using 9,10-dimethyl-1,2-benzanthracene. These cells are resistant to 0.1 mM hydrocortisone and sensitive to 20 mcg/mL PHA. There's also a sub-strain, EL4.IL-2, which can produce high levels of IL-2. Testing has shown these cells are negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). The EL-4-LUC-GFP-Puro cell line is an EL-4 derivative that was lentivirally infected to stably express firefly luciferase and GFP.
