Mouse Subcutaneous Connective Tissue Cell Line-L WRN
Product Overview
L-WRN is a fibroblast-like cell line isolated from the mammary fat pad of a male mouse. This cell line is a source for producing conditioned medium containing Wnt-3A, R-spondin 3, and Noggin, which can be used to culture various mammalian tissue stem cells. L-WRN cells were obtained by co-transfecting L-Wnt3A cells with R-spondin 3 and Noggin co-expression vectors and selecting stable clones in medium containing G418 and hygromycin B. L-WRN cells secrete the factors Wnt3A, R-spondin 3, and Noggin into the culture medium. Wnt3A binds to the frizzled receptor family and activates beta-catenin-dependent transcription. Members of the R-spondin protein family are potent co-activators of canonical Wnt signaling in the intestine and are essential for isolating small intestinal stem cells. Noggin is a bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling inhibitor that can maintain and propagate small intestinal organoids in vitro.
