Mouse Renal Cancer Cell Line-RENCA-Luc

Cat. No.CC7F115

Product TypeAnimal Cells and Cell Lines

Product Overview

Mouse Renal Cancer Cell Line-RENCA accurately mimics the growth and proliferation patterns of human renal cancer cells, particularly in their ability to metastasize to both the lungs and liver. This cell line does not express the β-transforming growth factor II receptor. Originally isolated from a spontaneous renal adenocarcinoma in a BALB/c mouse, RENCA is a highly syngeneic cell line capable of growing and forming tumors in BALB/c mice. The cells were transfected with lentivirus to carry the Luciferase gene.
