Mouse Mammary Epithelial Cell Line-HC11
Product Overview
Mouse Mammary Epithelial Cell Line-HC11 is a widely used in vitro model for studying mammary epithelial cell differentiation and the mechanisms of milk production. These cells were isolated from the mammary gland tissue of a pregnant BALB/c mouse and cloned from the COMMA-1D cell line. HC11 cells exhibit a normal epithelial phenotype and can show characteristics of mammary epithelial cell differentiation in in vitro culture. HC11 cells produce their own extracellular matrix proteins, such as laminin, and respond to lactogenic hormones (prolactin, insulin, and dexamethasone) by producing milk proteins like β-casein.
