The WB-F344 rat liver epithelial stem cell line is derived from normal adult rat liver tissue. These cells exhibit an epithelial cell morphology and grow as an adherent cell type. They originate from the liver epithelial tissue of the Fischer-344 rat strain. These cells can be used to study hepatocyte regeneration, differentiation, and the development of liver cancer.
