Specimen Collection Specialist

Role Summary

Specimen collection specialist is responsible for collecting pet specimens for genetic testing or cloning business. This position is critical to support our local customer base. The candidate will collect pet samples locally, maintain the integrity of the collection process and forward the samples to relevant laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

Collect pet samples in accordance with the protocol and maintain the integrity of the samples.
Assist customers face-to-face or over the phone, professionally explain related problems, and propose reasonable solutions.
Promote BioVenic's products and services to customers when necessary.
Manage the sample library according to laboratory procedures and policies to ensure the effective preservation of samples.
Cooperate with colleagues and complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

At least 3 years' work experience in specimen collection and preservation.
Advanced degree in animal science, veterinary medicine, animal breeding, animal husbandry, aquatic science, biotechnology, or related field.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Exceptional organizational, management skills, and attention to detail.
Good sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, able to withstand certain pressure.
