Role Summary

The purpose of a diagnostic application specialist is to provide support for veterinary practice, laboratory research and veterinary academic settings, and to be responsible for customer satisfaction in the assigned area. The ideal candidate will support the implementation, training, operation, application, and problem solving of animal genetic testing and disease diagnosis services. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and optimistic attitude, and the ability to thrive in a highly interactive, fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, cultivate, and develop customer relationships.
• Maintain a high level of expertise in genetic testing, animal disease diagnosis and other fields.
• Work with the market and R&D teams to formulate plans and maintain customer relationships.
• Develop, design, and implement genetic testing workflows to improve the overall customer experience of our services.
• Analyze, interpret, and summarize complex data to contribute to project decisions.
• Participate in the formulation and revision of standard operating procedures as required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' work experience in the related field.
• Advanced degree in animal science, veterinary medicine, animal breeding, animal husbandry, aquatic science, and genetics, etc.
• A solid background in animal medical care, and understanding of animal genetic testing process and methods.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal communication), ability to discover problems and recommend feasible solutions.
• Good sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, able to withstand pressure.
