Product Overview

BioVenic Yersinia enterocolitica rfbC gene Probe-based qPCR Kit is designed for the real-time detection of Yersinia enterocolitica rfbC gene in Biological samples using a Probe-based qPCR method. For research use only.

Specifications

Assay Type Probe-based qPCR
Specificity Yersinia enterocolitica rfbC gene
Target Species Bacterium
Sample Requirement Biological samples

Target Information

Yersinia enterocolitica is a notable pathogen responsible for causing yersiniosis in both humans and animals. The Yersinia enterocolitica serogroup O:3 all contained the fragment of the rfbC gene. This gene is part of the rfb locus on the bacterial chromosome and encodes the dTDP-rhamnosyl transferase RfbF. It facilitates O-antigen biosynthesis by synthesizing O-antigen glycosyltransferases, which transfer rhamnosyl to the growing repeat units.

Target Yersinia enterocolitica rfbC gene
Target Synonym Yersinia enterocolitica rfbC gene; rfbC
Taxonomy ID 630
