Target Information

Estrone (E1), also known as oestrone, is a naturally occurring hormone and one of the three main types of estrogen. It plays a crucial role in the reproductive system and has various implications for overall health and well-being. Most reports on environmental estrogens indicate a degradation/transformation pathway leading to reduced estrogenicity, i.e. 17 β-estradiol is converted to E1 and possibly other daughter products.
