Target Information

Swine thrombopoietin (TPO) is a key regulator of platelet production, also known as a megakaryocyte growth-derived factor. TPO binds to the c-Mpl receptor on the surface of megakaryocytes, activating various signaling pathways such as JAK/STAT and Ras/MAPK to promote the proliferation and differentiation of megakaryocytes into platelets, thereby increasing platelet levels in circulation.
