Target Information

Rabbit Tissue Factor (F3) is a cell surface glycoprotein that plays a pivotal role in initiating the blood coagulation cascade. It acts as a high-affinity receptor for coagulation factor VII, forming a complex that activates downstream clotting factors, leading to thrombin generation and clot formation. In rabbits, F3 is crucial for hemostasis and wound healing. Additionally, F3 is involved in various pathological processes, such as inflammation and tumor progression, where it can promote angiogenesis and metastasis. This multifunctional protein is also a target for studying thrombotic disorders and cancer biology.
