Target Information
Rabbit Osteopontin (SPP1) is a multifunctional glycoprotein that plays important roles in various biological processes. It is highly expressed in bone tissue and is involved in bone remodeling and mineralization. Additionally, SPP1 is implicated in immune responses, promoting the activation and migration of immune cells. In rabbits, SPP1 has been found in macrophages and other immune cells, where it helps mediate inflammatory responses and tissue repair. It also interacts with integrins and CD44, facilitating cell adhesion and signaling. Furthermore, SPP1 is involved in angiogenesis and vascular remodeling, contributing to processes such as wound healing and tissue regeneration. Its diverse functions make SPP1 a significant target for studying bone biology, inflammation, and tissue repair in rabbits.
