Target Information
Rabbit Interleukin-7 (IL-7) is a cytokine that plays a crucial role in the development and function of the immune system. It is essential for B cell development and is a key regulator of T cell development and peripheral T cell homeostasis. In rabbits, IL-7 is involved in stimulating the proliferation of lymphoid progenitors and is important for the proliferation of B cells during certain stages of maturation. Additionally, IL-7 has been shown to enhance the antiviral function and expansion of natural killer (NK) cells and regulate the development and differentiation of dendritic cells. These functions highlight IL-7's importance in maintaining immune system integrity and supporting immune responses.
