Target Information
Rabbit Extracellular Superoxide Dismutase [Cu-Zn] (SOD3) is a key enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of superoxide anions (O2−) into hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), protecting cells from oxidative damage. It is highly expressed in extracellular spaces and on cell surfaces, where it regulates reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. In rabbits, SOD3 has been shown to promote tissue repair and reduce inflammation by decreasing oxidative stress. It also plays a role in cell proliferation and survival, making it a valuable target for studying tissue regeneration and inflammatory diseases.
